Needless to say, I can not do anything simply, so on the way to the air port (jfk) the passat over heats, and with the help of a state trooper we manage to get both a tow truck and a car services to pick me up and take me the rest of the way... which totally negated the money I saved flying out of jfk rather than getting a connecting flight form avoca or flying out of Newark... fun times; but the fun does not stop there my chuffer in an attempt to save time(which was appreciated) made and illegal turn(-_-)... right in front of a nypd patrol car(-_-,)... something i thought he saw... so we lost another fifteen minuets right there and while this was not the end of the world they do recommend you check in three hours ahead for any international flight, needless to say that was not going to happen though fortunately when i got there i managed to duck into line at one of the bag check counters and cut about a hour line out of the way. from that point on things where fairly smooth sailing, the flight was delayed by about a half an hour so i had plenty of time to kill... no temple Rome kids on this one though
