ok so just some fun facts for starters, that chair actually contains the original relic that is the throne of saint peter, however it is dated to some time after the first century C.E. so chances are slim he ever sat on it, the sculpture however was done by Bernini and is fantastic, on of my personal favorites, you cant see it because my camera is not that good but the four figures (not popes) are holding up the four legs of the chair with a single finger each, and while you cant see it due to the light their is also a dove in the windo
